DIRECTIONS

Montreat is located 3 miles north of Black Mountain on NC 9. Black Mountain is located approximately 16 miles east of Asheville on Interstate 40. Approximately 1 mile after passing through the stone Montreat Gate Turn Right onto Lookout Road,  at the 4-way intersection, turn Left on Appalachian Way, and then turn Left on South Carolina Terrace and look for the South Carolina Inn sign and proceed up the hill to find parking. The lower lot is reserved for handicapped parking and compact vehicles, there is an upper lot with ample parking and room for larger vehicles.
